We work closely with you to develop a complete visual direction for your event, bringing each element together to create a space that feels cohesive, elevated and personal to the occasion.
Depending on your event, our services may include concept development, custom backdrops and signage, faux floral arrangements, Balloon work and installations, tablescapes, props, furniture and décor sourcing, custom styling elements and on-site installation.
Our private event work spans milestone birthdays, engagements, baby celebrations, children’s events and other special occasions, with every event individually designed around your vision, venue and requirements.
Services
Event Styling & Design
Our event design and styling service brings your celebration together from concept through to final installation.
We develop the creative direction for your event, considering the venue, colour palette, layout and overall look and feel. From there, we source and coordinate the styling elements needed to bring the concept to life - including custom backdrops and signage, faux florals, furniture, tablescapes, props and decorative details.
Every element is considered as part of the overall design, creating a space that feels cohesive, personal and intentionally put together.
Weddings
From intimate ceremonies to large-scale celebrations, we design and style weddings that feel considered, personal and completely your own.
We work with you to develop the overall creative direction, bringing together florals, ceremony and reception styling, tablescapes, signage, furniture and custom design elements to create a cohesive experience from beginning to end.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered to reflect your vision while allowing you to enjoy the celebration knowing the styling has been taken care of.
Artificial Floral Design
Created in-house, our artificial florals range from delicate table arrangements to statement installations and large-scale floral features.
Working with premium artificial blooms, we create pieces that add depth, texture and impact to a space, without the limitations of fresh flowers. Each arrangement is custom-made for the occasion, allowing us to work freely with scale, shape and colour.
Available for events, brand activations and custom installations.
Our Process
We keep the process simple, collaborative and clear from the beginning, so you know what to expect at every stage. From your initial enquiry through to design, planning and installation, we’ll guide you through the process while keeping you informed along the way

Start by completing our enquiry form or send us an email at info@definedevents.com.au with your event date, venue, guest numbers, approximate budget and any ideas or inspiration you already have.
We’ll review your enquiry, confirm availability and get in touch to discuss your event in a little more detail.

Once you’re ready to move forward, a $300+gst non-refundable retainer secures your event date with Defined.
Your booking is then confirmed, and we’ll allocate a date for your design and proposal process to begin. This is scheduled according to your event date and our production calendar, so you’ll know when to expect the next stage.

This is where your event begins to take shape.
We’ll develop the creative direction and prepare a tailored proposal based on your event, venue, budget and requirements. Depending on the scope, this may include mood boards, styling concepts, custom elements, artificial florals, Balloon design, signage, furniture and décor sourcing, tablescapes and other design details.
Your proposal will outline the recommended elements and associated costs, giving you a clear picture of the complete design.
Design Revisions
We understand that ideas can evolve. Minor adjustments and refinements to your original concept are included as part of the design process and do not incur an additional fee.
If you decide to completely change the theme or creative direction after your proposal has been developed, a $300+gst additional design fee will apply for the development of a new concept and proposal.
We’ll always confirm whether a requested change is considered a minor revision or a new creative direction before any additional fee is charged.

Once you’ve received your proposal, we’ll work with you to refine the details and make any necessary adjustments.
Following approval and payment, we’ll secure the required suppliers, hire items and custom elements and begin preparing everything required for your event.

As your event approaches, we’ll confirm the final details, timings, venue access and installation requirements.
Behind the scenes, we’ll be coordinating your styling elements and preparing everything ready for the day.

On the day, our team takes care of delivery, setup and styling, bringing the design you’ve approved to life in the space.
Where required, pack-down and collection will take place after your event or at an agreed time with the venue.
All that’s left for you to do is enjoy your celebration.
Private Event
Investment
Our minimum investment for private events is $2,500+gst, excluding delivery, setup, pack-down and travel.
Design and styling are included for standard private events. For larger-scale celebrations or events requiring more extensive creative development, sourcing, planning or coordination, an additional Event Design & Styling Fee may apply.
Every event is individually quoted based on its scale and requirements, and all costs are clearly outlined in your proposal before proceeding.
